Rivet Sealer 3000

Reset the vinyl's memory. Skip the primer.

Vinyl is manufactured flat with heat, and its molecular memory keeps pulling it back to flat. That's why rivets pop up the next day. Heat and pressure at the same time resets that memory to the shape of the rivet.

SE360 Squeegee Evolved

Built for the human hand. Not for the shelf.

Every other squeegee is a flat card you pinch with your thumb, thousands of times a day. That compresses the median nerve at the wrist. The SE360 was developed with UK neuroscientist Dr. Martin Lebrough in 2008, and designed from day one to take that load off your hand.

See the difference

What a flat squeegee does to your hand

The base of the thumb is one of the weakest, most overworked joints in the hand. A flat squeegee puts it in charge of the whole job. The SE360 splints the thumb and hands the work to your four fingers.

Surgery is not a quick fix

Carpal tunnel release can take months to recover from. Some patients are left with lasting numbness, a weaker grip or reduced feeling in their fingers. For an installer, feel is everything: the film's tension, a trapped bubble, the edge of a rivet.

Stop straining. Start working in comfort.

Designed to reduce wrist fatigue and median-nerve strain. Learn about carpal tunnel syndrome from the NIH.

28years on the panel

I wrapped over 3,000 trucks and vehicles over 28 years. Thousands of rivets, miles of film, and a flat squeegee pinched in my thumb every single day. It gave me carpal tunnel syndrome.

So I designed the tools I wish I'd had from day one: the Rivet Sealer 3000, so no installer has to fight the same rivet twice, and the SE360, built around the human hand so the thumb is splinted and the fingers do the work.

Your hands are your career. Don't learn that the way I did.

Safety & proper use

The Rivet Sealer works because it gets hot. Respect the heat and it will seal rivets for years.

Warning
Hot surface: burn hazardThe adapter and Teflon™ tip run at 360–410°F and can cause severe burns. Never grab or touch the heat tip or adapter while hot or cooling. Let it cool completely before changing tips, and set it down only on a heat-safe surface.
Caution
Sharp element: puncture hazardPerforator needles can puncture skin. Do not press down on the perforator tip with your thumb. Hold the RS Perforator by its handle.
Notice
Overheating damages filmToo much heat or holding the tip too long can burn, discolor or distort the vinyl. Use a recommended heat gun, press for about one second, and test on a scrap of the same film first.
Notice
No excessive pressureLight, straight-on pressure is all it takes. Forcing the tool can damage the tool tip.
Notice
Do not dropDropping the adapter or perforator can damage the tool tip.
